Truman Memorial Day Rose Drop Ceremony

Truman Memorial Day Rose Drop Ceremony

Friends of the Purple Penguin,

One of our core values at Purple Penguin PR (PPP) is giving back. As you may know, we encourage every client to incorporate philanthropy into their business model. Giving back to causes that matter is rewarding on so many levels — one of which — it makes a great tool for generating publicity. At PPP, we talk the talk and walk the walk…

PPP is honored to have publicized the Truman Memorial Day Rose Drop Ceremony for the second year in a row, pro-bono.

The 4th annual Rose Drop Ceremony was an overwhelming success. 1,500 volunteers laid more than 40,000 roses at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery — PPP solidified coverage from all five TV stations in San Diego. Each outlet aired multiple teasers, as well as, taped and live segments. Check out some of the major hits…

While Memorial Day weekend is notoriously competitive in the world of PR, a feel-good story told by seasoned publicists will always come out on top.

Stand out.
